About reportai.au
reportai.au is Australian software for writing structural and building inspection reports. It was built by a practising engineer who was spending evenings retyping the same report skeleton after every site visit, and it is shaped around that job rather than adapted from a generic checklist app: the section structure, the limitations wording, the photographic record, and the level and layout plans an Australian structural report actually needs.
Who operates it
Aiman Salem, trading as ReportAi.au · ABN 95 973 765 172. Registered in Victoria, Australia. The registered business name "ReportAi.au" has been held since 15 June 2026. Contact admin@reportai.au — email is the support channel, and it is read by the person who builds the product.
What reportai.au is not
This matters more than any feature list, so it is stated plainly. reportai.au does not carry out inspections. It does not attend site, assess or certify the condition of a building, and it does not provide engineering services or professional advice. It does not certify that a report complies with any Australian Standard. What it produces is a draft, assembled from the evidence you captured, for you to check and correct. The finished report is issued under your name and your professional judgement, not ours.
AI drafting can be wrong. It can misread a caption, omit something, or word a finding in a way you would not. The quality-assurance pass catches structural problems — empty sections, placeholder text left behind, non-Australian spelling — but it cannot tell you whether a finding is correct. Read the draft.
How the product is built
Reports are drafted by third-party AI models, named in the Privacy Policy, which run outside Australia. Text you capture is sent to them to produce your report; nothing you upload is used to train them. Hosting and the database are commercial cloud services, also named in the Privacy Policy. Payments are handled by Stripe, so card details never reach reportai.au.
The product is early. Features listed on this site are ones that exist and work today; if something is on a roadmap rather than in the software, it is not advertised here.

reportai.au is a report documentation tool. It does not carry out inspections, does not assess or certify the condition of any building, and does not provide engineering services. Reports are AI-assisted drafts prepared for the inspecting engineer to check, correct, and sign off. All professional judgement remains yours.
